| Lion Valley farming is an extremely diversivied producer of fresh fruit and vegetables, geared for the overseas export markets.
Products would flow from diferrent commercial producing centres situated in the northen regions of South Africa. Mainly in the provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga.
From the packhouses the products would be taken and transferred to export agents who ship and deliver these product fresh and shelf ready to major chain stores all over the world.
The business have different products being produced during different seasons year round.
The first to start a new year would be the production of three different variants of Figs, which are very popular in overseas markets. The season starts middle February and ends in May.
The second major season overlapping the Fig season is Citrus, it starts in March and ends with the last variaty which is the Valencia in August.
The Table Grape season is next and starts beginning of November and goes through to the second week in January and is made up of six variants of grapes maturing at different times during the ten week season.
Overlapping products are Sweet Potatoes, Tobacco, Peas and Wheat, which is also produced in large volumes.
